Smeltpunt 168 graden, kookpunt 390 graden, oplosbaar in heet water en aceton, 2-J keton, dimethylformamide, ethylacetaat, cyclohexanon. Oplosbaar in watervrije ethanol en reactie, licht oplosbaar in koolstoftetrachloride, tolueen.
